1982 Trans-Am commercial riffs on the “Tron” vibe

In anticipation of the imminent release of Tron: Legacy, the sequel to the Sci-fi classic Tron, consider this flashback to 1982, the year of the original Tron’s release. Apparently GM’s marketers lifted heavily from the semi-computerized movie to promote the 1982 Pontiac Firebird and its semi-computerized Quadrajet carburetor.
