Some of the world’s most curvaceous cars were on display recently during the opening — or preview — of the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Calif.

Bugattis, Delages, Delahayes, Talbot-Lagos (like the one pictured up top), Voisins and Hispano-Suizas are showcased throughout the 50,000-square-foot facility. In all, there are more than 100 vintage cars on display.

Previously, the museum building was owned by newspaperman Otis Chandler who once housed a collection of vintage automobiles and motorcycles there. After Chandler’s death in 2006, Mullin bought the property, and began an extensive remodel.

Now, the museum’s collection includes unrestored Bugattis in its downstairs, and racing Bugattis laid out on a faux track upstairs. Another area of the museum, Club Bugatti, includes a den lined with artworks by various members of the Bugatti family.

This spring, the museum may start opening four days a month.
