A family-owned El Cajon-based Cadillac dealership is partnering with an automotive industry expert to introduce OdoClub, an unusual dealership rewards program that rewards customers every time they drive.

De La Fuente Cadillac General Sales Manager Rick Rodriguez said the dealership is partnering with 30-year auto industry consultant Danny Alkassmi, founder of OdoClub, the only dealership loyalty program that lets members earn points as they drive.

OdoClub members track the miles they drive, and log them on OdoClub’s Web site once a month. Members can also earn additional OdoMiles for driving fuel-efficient vehicles and all members automatically receive points, regardless of the miles they drive.

“When OdoClub members log their miles, they earn points that can be redeemed for benefits and other discounts,” Alkassmi said. “OdoClub and De La Fuente help their customers save money,” said Alkassmi. “We’re offering our customers incentives for keeping up with their mileage.”

Alkassmi, who operates a Facebook Fan Page, an auto industry blog and posts daily to his Twitter account, says De la Fuente Cadillac is now the only dealership in San Diego County that rewards it customers for driving to work, to school, or to the grocery store. “Any time they drive, De La Fuente customers earn OdoClub points.”

OdoClub members earn rewards for every mile they drive. And these rewards can be redeemed at participating automotive dealerships for discounts on goods and services.
