The High Museum of Art in Atlanta is hosting an exhibition that celebrates automotive design. The Allure of the Automobile, which runs through June 20, includes 18 vehicles that were designed from the early 1930s through the early 1960s.

All of the vehicles — including a 1933 Pierce Silver Arrow; a 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C2900B Touring Berlinetta; a 1948 Tucker Model 48 Torpedo; a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette “Bill Mitchell” Stingray prototype, and a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT (pictured) — are displayed in the context of the Art Moderne and Postwar Modernity movements.

You can read more about the exhibit here, here and here.
