Battery, electric and hybrid vehicles may be getting all the attention lately, but fuel cell vehicles are still around. And it’s possible that a limited network supporting fuel cell cars could be in place by 2015.
According to Peter Wells, California already has a well developed network of network of hydrogen filling stations that are suitable for fuel cell vehicles and H2 combustion engine vehicles.
The Golden State’s hydrogen highways include two major clusters around Los Angeles and San Francisco to Sacramento, and includes more than 25 refueling stations.
