First Chevy Volt Battery Rolls Off Assembly Line

Three Years ago the original Chevy Volt made its debut the the Detroit Auto Show. Today the first 16-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack from General Motors rolled off the assembly line. GM, which uses more than 200 cell apiece are assembled in Detroit, making GM the first automaker to make lithium-ion packs in the United States. [...]
